Dr. Peterson has practiced dentistry for more than 25 years in the West Palm Beach area. Throughout his career, he has treated thousands of patients of varied ages and dental backgrounds. During this time, he has grown a practice that is dedicated to the individual needs of each patient.
Dr. Peterson believes staying closely connected to the dentistry field by pursuing further educational opportunities and professional memberships. In addition to earning his medical degree, he had obtained his MBA, with a specialization in health care administration, from the University of Miami. He has spent additional time in practice management and customer service. Currently, Dr. Peterson is actively pursuing advanced training in Implantology. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and is a Qualified Member of The Crown Council.
Dr. Peterson is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which means he has taken over 1,000 hours of continuing education over the last 25 years. During this pursuit, he became a Pre-fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). Dr. Peterson has practiced oral conscious sedation under the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation since 2001. In 2003, he obtained his IV certification from the Montefiore Hospital in New York. The state of Florida mandates IV certification to obtain the proper license for Conscious sedation. Pre-dental and dental education include: DDS Degree from Howard University 1983; General Practice Residency, University Hospital, Jacksonville, FL 1984.
